All parties involved in the publication process—including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—must agree to ethical behavior as outlined below.

1. Authors’ Responsibilities

  • Authors must ensure their work is original and has not been published elsewhere.

  • Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given through appropriate citation.

  • All sources of funding or financial support must be disclosed.

  • Authors must declare any conflicts of interest.

  • Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable and will result in the rejection or retraction of the manuscript.

  • If an error is discovered after publication, authors must promptly notify the editor.

2. Editors’ Responsibilities

  • Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on the manuscript's academic merit, originality, and relevance.

  • Editors must ensure a fair, unbiased, and confidential review process.

  • Editors must not use unpublished information from submitted manuscripts for their own research without the author's consent.

  • Editors must take appropriate action when ethical complaints are raised concerning a submitted or published manuscript.

3. Reviewers’ Responsibilities

  • Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the review process and not disclose any information about the manuscript.

  • Reviews should be conducted objectively and constructively, without personal criticism.

  • Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest and decline to review if such conflicts exist.

  • If reviewers suspect misconduct, they should inform the editors in confidence.

4. Publisher’s Responsibilities

  • The publisher, Cv. Penerbit Buku Indonesia, ensures that good practices in publishing ethics are upheld and supports the editorial team in handling ethical concerns appropriately.

  • The publisher is committed to the permanent availability and preservation of scholarly content.
