Author Guidelines

Interface: Journal of Technique welcomes the submission of original manuscripts related to engineering and applied technology. Authors are encouraged to follow these guidelines carefully to ensure a smooth peer-review and publication process.

1. Manuscript Submission

  • Manuscripts must be submitted via the journal’s official submission system or email (as specified on the journal website).

  • The manuscript must not be previously published or under consideration elsewhere.

  • Submission is free of charge. The journal does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APCs).

2. Manuscript Format

Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) and must follow the structure below:

  • Title: Clear and concise (max. 20 words).

  • Abstract: 150–250 words, summarizing the purpose, method, results, and conclusion.

  • Keywords: 3–6 keywords, separated by commas.

  • Introduction

  • Methodology

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • Acknowledgments (if any)

  • References

Font and Style:

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt

  • Line spacing: 1.5

  • Margin: 2.5 cm (all sides)

  • Language: English or Bahasa Indonesia (abstract must be in English)

3. References

  • Use APA 7th edition referencing style.

  • References must be cited in-text and listed in the bibliography.

  • At least 80% of references should be from journal articles published in the last 10 years.

Example:

Author, A. A. (Year). Title of the article. Journal Name, Volume(Issue), pages. https://doi.org/xxxxx

4. Plagiarism Policy

All submissions will be screened for plagiarism using reliable software. Manuscripts with more than 20% similarity may be rejected or returned for revision.

5. Peer Review Process

  • All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers.

  • Review results will be sent to authors within 4–8 weeks after submission.

  • Revisions must be submitted within the given deadline.

6. Copyright and Licensing

  • All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license.

  • Authors retain copyright but grant the journal the right to publish and distribute the article.
